The Kankakee County Soldiers professional basketball team is located in Bourbonnais, IL. The team was established in 2007 by owner and head coach Barry Bradford and has since continued to deliver quality sports entertainment to the central IL region. The Kankakee County Soldiers are the reigning champs for the 2012 winter season and are working to bring fierce competition to the league yet again. The momentum is building and 2013 has great promise to become the Soldiers' best season ever. However, the team has far more on its mind than basketball. The Soldiers enjoy giving back to the community, volunteering their time as role models, leaders and mentors to area youth and community organizations.
The Soldiers' motto, "We Are One," has inspired the community to take pride not only in the Soldiers' team on the court but off the court throughout the community as well.
