The Albany Legends, established in 2010 have quickly become one of the most respected and recognized minor league franchises in the USA. With a lifetime record of 46-16 (.742 winning percentage), a 2010 league Championship and a trip to the finals in 2012, it proves that the Legends strive for excellence and it shows!
The Legends are proud of our affiliation with the IBA-PBL. We take our commitments to ourselves, our fans and our community seriously and have built a reputation that delivers on those commitments. The Albany Legends strive to provide the highest quality, most affordable minor league professional basketball for our fans. We have worked tirelessly to build a strong commitment partnership with fund raising opportunities, a Jr. Legends AAU program, youth clinics that teach both basketball and life lessons, community economic benefits such as job opportunities, including student internships, a college scholarship, monetary donations and complimentary tickets to deserving organizations dedicated to making our community a better place. Last but far from least, the Legends focus player development and respect for each and every player that wears a Legend's uniform. The majority of our playgoings on to further their basketball careers overseas in countries such as Germany, Italy, Japan, Denmark, France, Spain, Tunisia or in other US based leagues and look forward to returning to the Legends when their respective seasons end.
